 Purported non-human alien remains, about 1,000-year-old, showcased in glass display cases in Mexico this week, raised questions anew around the existence of extra-terrestrial beings and life beyond planet Earth.

Jaime Maussan, a journalist and ufologist, solemnly testified in the Mexican Congress that these entities were distinctly non-human and not a part of Earth's evolutionary history. The unveiling of two diminutive mummified specimens, each possessing three fingers on their hands, was accompanied by Maussan's claim that rigorous Carbon 14 analysis conducted by researchers from the Autonomous National University of Mexico confirmed their antiquity, dating them back approximately a millennium.

Few days later, Nasa released its own 33-page report on its year-long research into UFOs.
